Leaving a Guild
So you've decided that your guild just isn't working out, and you want to leave. But before you make the final decision, there are some important things to think about.
Consider the following:
One should leave a message to their association before leaving instead of simply quitting without a word because even though you might express that you weren't content with your current assoc, your leadership and members still know that you're thoughtful of them.

Remember that there is a 12-hour cool-down between leaving an association and joining a new one. You must wait this out before you can apply to join another association, so plan your time accordingly. Many members who choose to leave their guilds do so right before the go to bed.
If you are kicked from an association, however, this 12-hour cool-down does not apply. A member who is kicked by the President or a Vice President of their guild can apply to a new association immediately after being removed.

When you leave, you will keep your association coins as well as your starwish earrings, hairpins, and necklaces. However, any remaining karma sand and memory crystal you may have will not be carried over to your new association.
